Doll of the Day - Victor Golly

Victor Golly is approximately 17 inches tall and is a companion to Victoria.

Victor wears striped trousers with braces and buttons, a t-shirt and bow tie.  He has buttons on his boots.  (Clothes are not removable.)

His face is made of felt with drawn black pupils. This is handsewn to the head. The hair is knitting yarn, knotted and sewn to the head.

 Such a lovely golly. Forget those mass-produced ones, this one is hand made by me at my workroom/studio here in Christchurch.

Doll of the day - Victoria Golly - Pretty in Blue Daisies

Victoria Golly is approximately 17 inches tall.

She is wearing a pretty blue pinafore with bows, on top of a white lace-trimmed blouse. She is wearing bloomers. Her boots are... the same fabric as her pinafore and they are trimmed with bows too. (Clothes are not removable)

Her face is made of felt with drawn black pupils. This is handsewn to the head. Her hair is knitting yarn, knotted and sewn to her head.

18 inch Doll Collection

In 2003, I published my first printed pattern, Ella, an 18 inch ballerina/fairy.  Over the next two years I continued to play with the 18 inch doll form and published a series of patterns.

Today, I am combining 12 of these patterns in this booklet.  You will be able to mix and match legs, arms, heads and bodies to make the designs given, or make your own unique doll.

 

This booklet starts with general doll making techniques and follows with specific instructions for the following dolls:  Gina, Gabriella, Isabella, Ella, Samara, Scarlett, Fern, Chloe, Bryony, Petal, Ayisha and Rosa.  It has full sized pattern pieces and is full of instructions and diagrams for all the dolls shown - or make your own!
